Cochran's Story

My name is Jennifer, and I am on a journey just like you.  I have had my share of both physical and mental health challenges, just like you.

I am a nurse of almost 30 years and a mom of five.  I can relate to many of life's frustrations that I too have felt over the past 5 decades.  In 2015 I completed my master's degree from the University of Toledo and became a Family Nurse Practitioner, obtaining my certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). I hold an Autonomous Advance Practice Registered nursing license in the state of Florida.

During the pandemic, I noticed anxiety and depression rising, while at the same time I struggled to get my patients into mental health services in a timely manner.  I could prescribe the basic meds, but many of my patients wanted to start seeing me for mental and behavioral health concerns as well.  It was then I decided to go back to school to train and gain expertise in the mental health realm. I completed my mental health certification at Wilkes University, and became board certified with American Nurses Credentialing Center (AANC).

I believe what I learned can be put to great use in helping my community.  I am eager to help you with this next part of your journey!

Tresso's Story

My name is Jennifer, I am a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), certified by AANP.  I graduated from Chamberlain University in 2019.  Prior to completing my master’s Degree as a FNP, I was a Registered Nurse for fourteen years, specializing in Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine.

As an FNP, I have cared for and managed the medical care for patients in pain management, addiction medicine, managed care, and primary care.  I hold an Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered nursing license in the state of Florida.

Throughout my career in healthcare, my passion has always been to provide the best possible care for my patients and their families.  I believe that healthcare cannot be rushed. My focus is to really listen and acknowledge my patients concerns to form a trusting therapeutic relationship.  I believe this enables me to provide the best care to my patients!
