Hello
My name is Jennifer, I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I am specially trained to be able to diagnose, prescribe and treat many mental health disorders and behavioral issues. While I am not a therapist, I can partner with your therapist to give you a more robust treatment plan. I am also a certified Family Nurse practitioner, and your overall health and well being is my priority.
My Story
“But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”

I am on a journey just like you. I have had my share of mental health issues, just like you.
I am a nurse of almost 30 years and a mom of five. I can relate to many of life's frustrations that I too have felt over the past 5 decades. In 2015 I completed my master's degree from the University of Toledo and became a Family Nurse Practitioner, obtaining my certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

During the pandemic, I noticed anxiety and depression rising, while at the same time I struggled to get my patients into mental health services in a timely manner. I could prescribe the basic meds, but many of my patients wanted to start seeing me for mental and behavioral health concerns as well. It was then I decided to go back to school to train and gain expertise in the mental health realm. I completed my mental health certification at Wilkes University, and became board certified with American Nurses Credentialing Center (AANC).
I believe what I learned can be put to great use in helping my community. I am eager to help you with this next part of your journey!
